That I Ever Had

Now I am not sure you know him yet,
But you'll like him, I'm sure, I'll bet.
He's not from around, but close to my heart,
Something in him sets my friend apart.

Oh, come on you guys, give him a chance!
He might not party,he might not dance.
He might not talk and boast that much,
Or joke and laugh and such.

So he doesn't drink, and doesn't smoke,
But by all means, he's a good bloke!
It seems that only I can see,
That he is thrice as good as me.
